Quilters Group

Our Quilters group meets on Wednesdays at the church from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, with a potluck lunch.  This group makes quilts and gives them away to a variety of places and people in central Oregon.  This is a tangible way to bless and share the love of Jesus with children, single mothers, local homeless shelters, senior centers, nursing homes, and other places or people.  In the last 5 years, over 250 quilts have been given to places such as the Christmas Valley Tree of Joy, Ronald McDonald House, Bethlehem Inn, Prairie House, Shepherd’s House, Grandma’s House, and the local Sheriff’s office for children who get displaced from their homes.  They also keep quilts on hand for victims of house fires.  All fabric is donated.
